Cancellations/Reschedules, Late Arrival & Other Policies

• 24 hour notice VIA phone, email or text is required for all cancellations or reschedules. Note: PLEASE DO NOT respond to your confirmation email or text as I will not receive it.  Also, we prefer each client to arrive 5 minutes or more early so we can begin your service promptly.  Don't worry, boredom is not an issue here - grab some coffee, a beer/whiskey, maybe sing along with the music... hey let's throw the game on that high definition flat screen on the wall... in any event we'll be with you in a jiff. :)

Here at Off The Top we provide an appointment-based business model - when you schedule time with us, that is your time slot, no one else's. We  won't ever double book, so you can be assured that your time is your time. This helps us to deliver a consistent, client centered, high quality experience every time. However, if adequate notice for cancellations or reschedules isn't given, that time is lost  which could have been  dedicated to another loyal client.

A late arrival can negatively impact  all subsequent appointments for the day, and diminish our capacity to provide the high-end and timely service that clients at Off the Top have come to expect and enjoy.  

With all that being said, we do understand that emergencies happen. The heart of this policy is to voice the expectation that each client will be respectful of each other's time by being on time, and respectful of my time by providing adequate notice of cancellations and rescheduling. We appreciate all of our awesome and  loyal friends  and clients! 

Cancellation Fee

Appointments missed with out 24 hour notice due to a no call no show, or a last minute cancellation, or by simply showing up too late to accommodate the scheduled appointment, will be asked to pay the equivalent of the missed appointment.

OTHER POLICIES

• Hair Condition Policy

Hair needs to be in it’s natural state in order to be cut properly and correctly in accordance with the high standards of this shop that my clients have come to know, appreciate, and expect. Here we insist on quality not often found in the typically average,  run-of-the-mill shop. In order to achieve this quality in the hair cuts and designs, hair has to be in the right condition to be cut. So, we need everyone to come in with ”shampoo, conditioned, and blow-dried hair” so that the best cut possible can be achieved. "A professional is only as good as the material he or she is working with," Right?  If you can’t, for whatever reason, an “add-on shampoo” service will need to be added to your service so that we can prep the hair properly to receive a quality result/service. (This means things like: hat hair, bed head, hair full of gunk and or  full of product, or excessively oily or sweaty hair prohibit good results). Thank  you for participating and helping to ensure that we all   achieve the standard of excellence we strive for here at Off The Top men's salon.  Remember, "two thirds of a good hair cut, starts with good hair care!"

• Self Grooming

Don’t do it! We understand you want to appear groomed and professional and clean, but in doing so you may inhibit us from doing the excellent job we want to do for you. So, please leave the beards and lines and necks and whatever else you would normally groom on your face and hair to the professionals and bring us a blank, untouched canvas to work with. Everything will look better when it’s done by the professional in exact precision, trust me. The more I have to work with the better. And yes, that includes those itchy neck hairs you are dying to shave! Let it grow! That medium plays a part in the construction and foundations of a great beard and you won’t know where the lines need to be anyway. So, bring it all raw and untouched and give me the best leg-up to create that masterpiece you’ve wanted for so long. 

• Show up Sober Policy

This is a safe, family friendly environment. Please show up un-inebriated from any sort of intoxicant including, but not limited to, pot, alcohol, or any other type of drug. Thank you for understanding  the type of environment we want to provide here for the professional and the other clients. 

Thank you to all my loyal clients who understand and respect these policies and thank you for respecting my time as well as the time of our other clients. Finally, thank you all for making this an awesome place to come and enjoy a beer and receive a high-end experience.
