How We Are Different
At Off The Top, we do things a bit differently than what you may be used to.
Have you ever felt like getting your hair done can be a complete hit or miss? You look online and see a picture of a haircut and style that you think looks amazing, so you book an appointment and you ask for that exact same thing...but there's a catch: that person in the picture is not you! They don't have the same hair texture, face shape, bone structure, cowlicks, wave or growth patterns, hairline, jawline, or neckline; what suits all of these things for them may suit you, but also may not. This is why we believe that all cuts and styles should be custom to fit your unique set of features.
At Off The Top, we want you to be free of the fear: will this hairstyle look good on me?
To create your custom style at Off The Top, we will spend some time going over your preferences and observing your style, making professional recommendations of what we can do that will work for your unique features. We aim to deliver balance and symmetry to your look, creating a personalized result that is uniquely tailored to you. Everything we do at Off The Top is custom, elevating us beyond the typical cut-by-numbers barbershop.
Here at Off The Top, we do everything with the highest standards and quality as our priority. We believe in the importance of a complete and thought out customer experience. Our technique elevates even the most basic styles, and leaves our clients looking and feeling spectacular.

Furthermore/Education
Off The Top also believes you should be well equipped. If you can't replicate what we do when we style your finished look, then what is the point? We will teach you how to identify the right styling products and how to use them according to design; also instructing you on how proper styling techniques can actually save time and money, giving you the right results every time.
We will educate you on proper haircare and the quality of the products we use, such as shampoo and conditioner and why it's imperative to the results of your cut, and un-educate you on hair myths, propaganda, and gimmick! We will teach you how to buy and where to buy. We will teach you the real science and biology of hair. Here we like empowering clients with the CORRECT knowledge to manage your style, skin and hair. We want to improve your accuracy and consistency, while minimizing time, cost and frustration.
Simply put, we will impart the wisdom and skills needed to maintain the health and vitality of your hair, while also teaching you how to style it to perfection in a professional way every time in a practical and non-time consuming way (If at all possible).
